For all of my bloggers, writers, restaurant owners, or anyone in the food travel industry – this post is for you.
One thing I love to do is learn and write about food. You have probably noticed that by now though. 😉 I like learning about new food trends and food tourism – because hey, food and travel are two of my favorite topics. I also like to surround myself with other foodies, so when events and conferences come my way I try to find a way to attend and share them with you.
The FoodTrekking World Convention is coming to Portland, Oregon this year from April 2-4th (2017) where eight world-class speaker along with leaders in food tourism share their knowledge with attendees so that they can take advantage of the intersection of food and travel.
The “…goal behind the FoodTrekking Convention is to unite the food, beverage, travel, and hospitality industries together to create connections and more opportunities for food tourism – ultimately leading to economic growth and increased traveler satisfaction.” Says Erik Wolf, Executive Director of the World Food Travel Association.
The FoodTrekking World Convention will inspire anyone in the food tourism industry to learn trends and new innovations. It will also allow you to make new connections with others and hear their stories. What I love about the concept behind this convention is that food tells a story; it gathers all of us together. Special moments together and the meals we ate go synonymously together.
Hundreds of the people in will gather together this April. They’ll be inspired about the latest innovating information in the food travel industry – and I’ll be there along with them.
