You Inspired Me Monday

Well, its still Monday over here on the west coast for a few more minutes. 🙂 Thanks to all who linked up last week at my Create.Simplify.Inspire linky party! It runs Thursday through Sunday evening and is open to all of your projects and writings.

Evelyn over at My Turn For Us created some delicious looking Smoked Ribs. I must try!

Nichole from Pinkie for Pink has a great little tutorial for making simple Felt Flowers for little girls! I can see some pink and purple ones here in the near future.

You Inspired Me Monday

Oh hello Monday! Its a cloudy and wet day here. My car is still in the shop so I’m trapped at home which is forcing me to clean and try to keep the two little ones from beating each other up too bad. I love that they actually got to have a sleepover at Papa’s house….but sometimes the post-lack-of-sleep-to-much-sugar-and-excitement meltdowns are so exhausting!

Nici from Posed Perfection showed us how she created these adorable Candy Corn Treat Pockets!

Nici also made some super simply and delicious BBQ Chicken Pita Pizza

Cynthia from Feeding Big inspired me to make something with Pumpkins….I almost anything pumpkin and these Pumpkin Spice Scones look amazing!!

Nichole from Pinkie for Pink showed us how she created an adorable Halloween Pumpkin Costume

Nichole also baked up some Delicious and Easy Chocolate Cupcakes that are making crave some chocolate right about now. 🙂

You Inspired Me Monday

Krystal from Wildflowers 3 shows us how to refurb some old boots and create something completely cute out of them! Check out her DIY: Boho Boot tutorial!

Myric from Petite Passions made my mouth water with these cupcakes that she was inspired to make when she saw the recipe on Pinterest. Check out her Apple Cider Cupcakes with Salted Carmel Buttercream.

Myric also posted a very inspiring post about lasting impressions, and it reminded me that we all need to take time out of our busy schedules and remember to just listen. Listening is one of the best things you can do for a person. Set your phones down, all eyes and attention on that person. It also reminded me that sometimes its the little things that happen in our lives that we will never forget. Definitely go check out Fred’s Last Question.
