Reser’s National Mac & Cheese Day Contest on KPTV Fox 12

Hey everyone! Today was the day! National Macaroni and Cheese Day! Did you enjoy some for dinner?

I just wanted to share with you my television debut! 😉 The other week I shared with you a post with a recipe I developed called Hazelnut Mac ‘Cran’ Cheese for Reser’s Main St. Bistro Signature Macaroni and Cheese. I then participated in a contest with two other local bloggers and KPTV Fox 12 filmed it all!

While my recipe wasn’t the ultimate winner, just participating was a win in my book! Both Heather’s Sassy Pants Creamy Macaroni and Cheese and Marlynn’s Taco Mac & Cheese were super delicious!

The best part about participating was that Reser’s Cares provided a $1,000 check to The Oregon Food Bank in the winner’s name. It was a great way to give back to the community.

While I’m not sure what my on-screen future will hold (ha!) it was a ton of fun and I’d definitely participate in something like this again.
