After we left Southern Oregon we drove up to Seattle last weekend and stayed one night. I’ve only been in Seattle once before and after exploring downtown Saturday and Sunday I wonder why I haven’t just driven up there more often. It’s a four hour drive from my house…not too bad for a weekend.
We explored the Downtown Seattle Macy’s, where they had their Annual Flower Show on display, and the theme this year is “The Secret Garden”.
Pinks, yellows, and orange floral designs everywhere made me long for warmer weather, and the flower displays from Wendy Morgan were absolutely stunning. In the middle of the lower level floor was a gorgeous art display of a woman with an umbrella.
Cute displays showed pops of color everywhere, and I love all of the styles of comfy casual and spring flared dresses. Big statement piece necklaces were prominently displayed and there was lots of white and beige to accent The Secret Garden looks.
There is something so magical to have a world of flowers and natural beauty, and then to pair it with fashion creates this stunning, timeless classic and innocent beautiful look. My must haves for this spring are:
1. A new spring/floral flared dress
2. A winged satchel
3. A couple new bold necklaces
I love Macy’s, and Seattle’s Macy’s only made me fall in love more. Spring styles and spring in general is one of my favorite times of the year!
