Types of Foods That are Always Crowd Pleasers

Food I certainly have a love/hate relationship with it…more love than hate – obviously! ;). The thing about food is, it is something that everyone needs and can relate too.. Food not only nourishes us, but its something that we use to enhance celebrations and use to make each day more memorable. Whether its parties, weddings, graduations, birthdays, and even funerals, what we select to serve and eat is very important. The foods we choose to present set the tone for the day, and great food can make the day more memorable.

With that being said there are certain foods that are better to serve for crowds than others. You wouldn’t serve a plate of kale and expect it to be a big hit, would you?

You want to make sure that you are serving food that is loved by many. You’ll also want to have a wide variety of bites, some that will be obvious hits, and maybe others that need a little warming up to.

Types of Foods That are Always a Crowd Pleaser

Types of foods that are always popular:

Fruit platters. things like diced pineapples, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, cantaloupe, etc.

Chips and dip. Have a variety of chips and dips. Bring out familiar staples like corn and potato chips with salsa or ranch dip, and kick it up a notch by trying a new chip flavor or a unique dip too. (Looking for a homemade dip recipe? Check out this oregano dip recipe HERE.)

Cookies. Who doesn’t love cookies?! If you are good at baking, homemade cookies are obviously the best. Chocolate chip, peanut butter, and sugar cookies are always yummy, but don’t be shy about trying new flavors either.

Charcuterie platters. These are totally my thing. I absolutely love creating and assembling these pretty platters. Read more ideas on how to create and assemble one HERE.

Next time you are a celebrating life – no matter how big or small, serve up something tasty for the people you love.

What kinds of food is always a big crowd pleaser in your home?
