October is here! I can’t believe that Halloween is only a short time away! With the hustle and bustle that blew through September, I’m looking forward to more time spent at home this month. I plan to work on house projects, writing projects, and getting ready for the holiday season – starting with Halloween!

We love Halloween. Every year the kids get dressed up and our neighborhood fills with hundreds of ghosts and goblins and I make candy goodie bags for them all. We usually end up keeping dinner simple that night and eat some Jack-O-Lantern pizzas, snacks like Pringles Snack Stacks®, Mini Fudge Stripes® and a simple Halloween treat, like these “Sugar Skulls”.

These sugar skulls are great for Halloween because they are super easy to create, and practically everyone in the family can chip in and create their own.

What makes them so easy? Pre-made Rice Krispies Treats®. The hard work is already done! All you need to do is unwrap them, shape them, and decorate them!  I love that this classic and delicioius snack has been making memories for kids and parents alike for generations.
