I don’t know about you, but I love a good party platter. They are so versatile and can be used for large parties or simple dinners. I often use a good wooden bamboo cutting board for most things, but I also like to switch it up a bit and use different types of platters as well for different events such as birthdays or holidays so I’ve searched up some cute and versatile platters to share with you! Each of them are unique and can be used for many different types of snacks and appetizers.
Party Platter Styles:
This slate cheese board is a great size and comes with a carrying handle. You can even use chalk to write on it. This platter would be great to use for mini desserts as well.
Top Middle: Tuscany Oval Platter :
Top Right: Rachael Ray Cucina Dinnerware Stoneware Rectangular Platter :
This pretty stoneware is a gorgeous blue and looks rustic. I love that it’s oven safe up to 250 degrees for up to 30 minutes – in case you have some hot appetizers that you need to keep warm until your friends arrive.
Middle Left: 3 Tier Rectangular Serving Platter :
I love tiered serving dishes. They help create more space in a small area, plus give your displays more height, which is always visually pleasing. This particular platter could be used for fruits, desserts, charcuterie plates…the ideas are limitless!
Middle Right: Butcher Block Cutting Board and Serving Platter :
Like I mentioned above, I love a good wooden cutting board that doubles as a serving platter. This particular one is made from acacia wood and is extra thick – nearly 2 inches. It also has handles on either side as well. It’s pretty heavy-duty too – weighing in at just over 6 pounds!
Bottom Left: Pastel Pink 3 Tier Dessert Stand :
This ceramic stand isn’t for every occasion, but it sure is great to have for any little birthday party, tea parties, or other such occasions! It’s great for holding cupcakes or appetizers.
Bottom Middle: Sea Blues Stripe Appetizer Platter :
This is another melamine platter, which is great for those of us with young children (or if you are just clumsy like me) because it won’t break as easy like a ceramic or glass platter would. This beautiful blue color would look lovely with most things because it has a great color contrast.
Bottom Right: Leaf Textured Serving Dish :
What are your favorite kinds of party platters? What kinds of occasions do you break them out for?
