#ad Easy Chicken Apple Pecan Salad

There are many times when I need to have a dinner that’s easy to prepare when we have a busy evening or I’m working. The easiest solution would be to buy something pre-made, and we do that occasionally, but most of the time we try to have something that’s fresh and fairly healthy. As many moms with little kids know though, it’s not always easy to make healthy meals (especially salads!) that the kids will eat without fussing.

I have found a salad though that my kids will actually tolerate, and my husband and I love. I’m excited to be sharing it with you today! The best part about this salad is that it’s just so simple to make. It’s made with Tyson Grilled & Ready chicken strips and a few other ingredients that can all be picked up at Walmart on your way home from work, or in between after-school activities.

What you need:
  • 1 Bag Tyson Grilled & Read Chicken Breast Strips (6 oz)
  • 2 Small heads of lettuce, or bag of mixed greans
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 4 oz Feta cheese
  • Your favorite salad dressing
Easy Instructions:
This recipe is so simple and can be prepared in three steps!
1. Tear lettuce by hand and place into salad bowl
2. coarsely chop pecans and apple
3. Mix all ingredients except Tyson Grilled & Ready strips. Add these just before serving.

This recipe is perfect for two or three, but Walmart also has their large packages of Tyson Grilled & Ready products on rollback for $5.87 if you have a larger crowd to feed. There will even be in-store Tyson demos the 16th-19th in many locations!

Tyson also has a Just Add This Program from now until March where you can register for recipes, simple tips, and prizes! Sign up for the Just Add This program here!
