Unfortunately our beautiful days were short lived and winter is back in full force, making this week a drastic change with nearly freezing temperatures, rain, hail, and snow. Here in Oregon it’s a running joke that all of those things plus sun can happen within one hour! It’s totally true too.
The kids were beyond excited to pick out new outfits and were running around like they owned the store; grabbing polk-a-dot girls leggings and striped shirts to try on.
An hour later we finally decided on the perfect outfits: an “Awesome” navy girls tunic with jeggings and sparkly loafers for Anika.
Emma decided on a grey tunic and cropped skinny twill pants. She also bought another blouse and polk-a-dot leotards.
Noah is styling in his new checkered button front shirt, dark blue 5 pocket twills, and the cutest little fedora I have ever seen.
With an additional coupon for 20% when you spend $30 or more (good through 3/12/14) we purchased everything for just over $100. It’s pretty hard now-a-days to keep any trip under $100, let alone clothes shopping for 3 kids, so we were very happy.
Hopefully the sun will soon return but for now they can dream with their new clothes!

More love for myself. For life.
I still am generally a quiet person until I get comfortable and familiar with people. I listen more than I speak. I still bite my tongue sometimes, but am so proud of myself when I reflect back to what I overcame.
This song by Sara Bareilles is so motivating. I have always loved her music, and this one has been on replay a lot that last couple days.
Can you put your fears aside, say what you want to say, and move on? In the end, all that really matters is that you lived a life that you loved.
Tell me, how big is your brave?
This is my typical outfit. Just in case you really wanted to know, you know, the real me. The lady behind the blog. We snapped these pictures on my back porch this morning and yes, that’s what I wore today. I love loose flowing tops and tanks underneath. In the summer I live in capris . I wear flip-flops nearly year round, and my husband got me hooked on Ray bans. Those things seriously are indestructible which are great for a clumsy girl like me.
I thought I’d answer a few random questions about me, just in case you were interested or something.
I’d love to learn more about you too. Leave a link in my comments with your post as well if you’d like.
